VENUS.

Got up for a glass of water just after midnight and noticed the really bright planet, so nipped out into the garden and took this with my iphone. Just really liked it.
An early walk along the canal and could not believe that after years of hearing the woodecker, but never seeing it, I managed to see it at the top of a tree. With my bad eyesight and a little camera I got a shot, even if it is a rubbish shot, I was so pleased.to get it. (see extra).
A cold dry day, went to B&Q and manage to get a good bargain, a lovely little weeping pussy willow tree, reduced from £45 to £20. .
Dinner tonight roast chicken, roast potatoes, sprouts and cranberry sauce. Yum.
