Oxlips and nodding violets

This is growing in our ever-expanding 'wild primrose patch', originally transported from my mother's garden.  I always thought it was a cowslip but a quick check with Mrs Google tells me it's an oxlip, one of the flowers included in my favourite quote from Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream:

"I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine:"

I've added a couple of extras, both of which were going to be my main blip, firstly of Ivy in a playful mood while watching the Australian F1 GP and the second of Cello and Fluffy's companion sheep thinking it couldn't be seen in the tree enclosure!

Decided to tag this for the lovely wildflower challenge. Many thanks to Miranda1008 for hosting.
