Poetry in The Park

This was our view as we sat in a circle and read our poems today. This was very enjoyable. I said a poem of mine called ‘The Wrong Choice’.

I also read a poem of Hilaire Belloc called ‘Tarantella’

There was a wide selection of poems read and when listening I looked down the park and the sky was blue, grass was green (thank you rain), the trees are in bud and the mountains were misty in the background.

Poetry in The Park in Athlone have invited us to submit a poem for publication in their yearly collection. So I will do this. It would be good craic to see a poem of your own printed as part of a collection.
