The road north

After a somewhat tense morning, I finally managed to get H into the care home for her respite week. She was pretty angry when she realised what was happening, so I did what was advised and left her to the experienced and kindly staff. I hope it goes well.
I turned the car around and headed north to Tain, some four-and-a-half hours north. A lovely drive when you get north of Letterfindlay, and the road from Drumnadrochit to Beauly is a wee cracker. This view is from very close to the summit of the road, before descending past Belladrum into Beauly.
Safely esconsed with A and J and drinking good wine and excellent whisky before bed.
