Had an amazing day in Norwich! Went for a swim at 07.30 followed by a sauna then back to residence for breakfast! We were due to meet C at the cathedral at approx 12.30 but we went to see the goats again and have a coffee, no kids yet! I forgot to bring the quarter of simnel cake that I was going to give her so we had to go back to base! Decided to try the satnav in the car and it got us to the cathedral! There was a guard at the entrance to the close and we had picked up C. We were stopped and she explained that we were friends of hers from Plymouthand that she was a steward and could we possibly park in the close? He looked down and then away and said to himself “ I could have sworn there was a car here” so off we drove to park in the close!

We had a very quick whizz through the cathedrAl which is absolutely stunning and then we’re taken off to lunch in the local Christian resources centre . We then did a quick walk round the market and up to the library, a very modern glass building with an exhibition on neuro divergence! What do you see?and the responses were all so different! Variety is the spice of life!

We were going to a performance of St Matthew Passion in the cathedral in the evening and went back to C’s flat to freshen up and have a cup of tea and cheese scone. C had bought us tickets in the unreserved side section but as luck would have it one of the sides people had been unable to come and we were given seats in row D in the centre on the aisle! It was a real treat and a stunning performance by six soloitsts and thd cathedral choristers and the Norwich Baroque ensemble on period instruments. Came back completely wrung out bug happy!
