Covid Day Three - since testing…
I hope April is a better month than January, February and March have been. Certainly been very mixed!
Covid is awful. I’ve rested today except for texting friends and doing a load of overdue laundry.
My breathing is still poor. The steroids I’m taking in the morning are helping a little as is my reliever inhaler for my asthma.
My fatigue is off the scale but my pain is down. My temperature is down too thankfully. I have been continuing with the soluble paracetamol and plenty of spoonfuls of honey.
I’m not sleeping well as every time I lie down, I go into coughing fits. With fibromyalgia, it’s very challenging to sleep upright but trying to sleep in a better position for the sake of my breathing.
I have been awake since 6am, which is about the usual time I wake up with my fibro pain anyway but I’m feeling very exhausted. I initially awoke at 4am but managed to doze over.
Two bottles of Lucozade have been consumed and plenty fruit, some cinnamon porridge, a chicken sandwich. My appetite is low but my taste is okay thankfully.
Counting down the days until I shift this! I managed to change my t-shirt this evening, watched Starstruck and The Jonathan Ross Show. Lily Allen was on - I love her music and her personality.
I’m hoping to shower tomorrow and wash my very greasy hair and hopefully get some fresh air into my lungs if my energy levels are better.
Hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend so far. Thanks for all your kind comments :) xx
