Darlington 1 Chester FC 2

Another fantastic away performance from the Blues and it is now 19 league games unbeaten on the road. Darlington are in one of the other play-off positions but Chester were much better and the injury time consolation goal flattered Darlo. 

A play-off position is almost mathematically secured and it looks like we are a good bet for 3rd place which would mean we would get a home tie in the semi-final. 

We had time for some geocaching and visited a couple of pubs before kick-off. I have always found Darlington a nice town. Unless you are a football fan it is not a place you would normally visit but it is a bit of a surprise.
