Nae view

A new care home is being built in Kirkwall. The homes along this edge of the building site have completely lost their view, obscured by this massive earthworks from the cleared site.

I really felt for a lovely lady I got chatting to. She explained about how much she missed being able to look over and see the familiar spire of the cathedral. Looking out at this wall of earth is getting her down. I'm not surprised.
