Birthday lunch

There is always an interesting display of pots in the yard at The Onslow Arms and I remembered to take my photo as we arrived.
We were there to join in the celebration of the 90th birthday of dear friend Angela. We were a party of twenty and had an upper room to ourselves. Much of the party was made up of their family with five gorgeous grandchildren in their twenties. I did enjoy chatting to them. After a good but very slow meal we went back to their house for bubbly and birthday cake. The birthday was very well celebrated.
