Back to the passerines - the perching birds. Except these two chose to be on the ground. I think these are a female chaffinch (main) and a dunnock. But I am no expert and would love anyone who knows better to put me right. 

All in all today was a good day for bird spotting. Apart from these two, I have seen partridges, a mistle thrush, goldfinches, great tits, and blue tits.
