Surprise View

We parked at Surprise View near Keswick this morning. It looks down on Derwentwater and across to Skiddaw. Through the gap you can see Bassenthwaite Lake and Scotland.

Then we walked along the hanging valley to Watendlath...( the cafe opened today for the season. ) Hot chocolate and home made ginger cake went down a treat!

April showers today, plus mist and murk on the fells...
