Translucent

Another gloomy wet day. Not hammering-down full on rain, but persistent drizzle, the sort that wets you through before you know it. So this afternoon's walk was very short!

I love the way the light shines through the translucent petals of the scented narcissi on the kitchen table. They seem to brighten the whole room on days like this.
