The Artist Within

I have had this idea since the winter and it is very exciting to see it start to come to life. This year I have rediscovered my love of shooting people and started to experiment with strobes but I felt a lack of meaning in my work. So after some thinking I came up with this idea, The Artist Within project.

I am taking artists, digitalizing their work and projecting it on to their bodies to help show a connection between the two. Taking photographs of photographers submerged in their own shots, writers and poets covered in their own words, painters veiled by their own paintings and I want to try to expand this project to any art that can be conveyed visually.

Part one is done today, but I plan to shoot more later this week.

I have many photos to sort through from the weekend and today but I hope to get some of shots online in the next week. I will put up a link on here when I do.
