Victorian Gothic

Like most cities that border Lake Michigan (or any large body of water, for that matter), the earliest residents with the most money built their mansions along the bluff overlooking the Lake. I have lots of favorite houses in this area, but this one never fails to catch my attention! It was built around 1875, & is considered a victorian gothic style home. Over the years it was divided down the center & changed from a one family to a 2 family, which I think is a shame. I just love all the gothic elements on the house....it would be a fantastic place for a Halloween party!! It was pouring rain today, so in the interest of self preservation, I actually took this from the curb, while keeping dry inside my car!
