During December Mochi developed a rather nasty eye she was taken to the vets who told me her eye had a very bad melting ulcer and subsequently would have to be removed.
I told them I wasn’t happy with the very quick decision and would like a second opinion from another vets practice.
The new vet also confirmed it was a melting ulcer but that we should at least try and save her eye.

It’s cost me lots of money and hours of painstakingly putting drops, gels and lotions in but I’m happy to say her eye is intake and has sight.
Conclusion is because she has many wrinkles the fur has acted like sandpaper on her eye and rubbed it to the point of an ulcer, we now will have to use a gel twice a day for the rest of her life to stop this happening.
I can live with that!
