The Side
Went to The Side Gallery today to catch a photographic exhibition in Newcastle, just off the Quayside.
A Wounded Landscape by Marc Wilson.
Readers of this blip journal will know I've followed Marc and his books right from the start.
The gallery brought the last* one to life, in harrowing detail. I chose this picture for my blip, as it's one of the worst.
A scene of where the guards and their families went to play and relax in the lake next to the place that they killed people day after day.
When you have normalised this so much what hope is there?
In the extras, a picture of the sacred site in Ukraine that the Russians bombed last year.
We don't learn.
