When the rain stopped

A very blustery, squally, day after quite a wild night as storm "Mathis" put in an appearance. Named by the French weather service, I was wondering if the announcement was made by  a " Man in Black" ?
These low growing Mascari escaped the worst of the wind, although the garden didn't fare too badly being sheltered from the SW winds.
