Day 12 - Barcelona Tapas Tour

We have just returned from a fascinating walk around Barcelona tasting Tapas. We sampled Tapas from the three influential food cultures of Basque, Catalan and Southern Spanish. The photo is of a sample of Southern Spanish tapas; chicken croquets, prawns on skewers, mushrooms in garlic sauce and spanish omolete.
The photo has a small file size as I had problems uploading last night so hope it is adequate.
Barcelona is made up of Old Town which was a walled city up till 1777, it then became far too small so the city walls were torn down. The new Barcelona is well planned with wide streets and limited building heights, there are only a handful of buildings above six floors. It is a vibrant place with creative architecture, even the television towers a creatively designed. The buildings seem to be all well maintained.
