Read through

The day dawns.  And the read through itself was actually fun!  The cast assembled in Civic House which I imagined was an old municipal building but was actually a repurposed warehouse turned into a lovely community centre.  Big room and an huge cafe.  

The read through itself was terrific our female lead was there and still excited she got the role, our biggest supporting actor wasn’t there but our male lead zoomed in from a stag weekend he was on.   The cast in the room was sensational and we were all very excited to hear them.   Equally exciting was the camera tests that were shown at the tone meeting.  Fabulous 

In the early evening I walked back to the hotel with producer Jonathan but I went  out for a solo supper in a restaurant Kelp nearby.  Small plates and  sustainable seafood it was absolutely delicious.  Long talk with R whose house sale looks wobbly again, he needs to divest himself of this house in order to move on so it’s miserable for him.
