Thursday: Civic Centre

Staffing issues seem to be neverending here.  Today I had to let one of our housekeepers go.  There is a sense that we’re constantly being played a bit…..

On a more cheerful note, I was a judge this afternoon at a high school females public speaking competition.  Each participant had to speak for 7 minutes on gender equity.  Some of the talks were really good, but some of them just shouted for 7 minutes.

Anyway, it was in the Civic Centre.  Coincidentally, the artist I met yesterday did the murals.
