"Just Cuddle with Me"

Poor little Ellie woke up hot last night; she had a headache and she just wanted me to lay with her and cuddle. She still had a 99.9F temperature this morning and stayed in bed until 10AM when she got up to go potty and eat. She only ate a tiny bit of her cereal & bananas, but she drank a lot of water. She has been laying on the sofa all day, watching nice children's public tv shows or sleeping. Whenever she is awake she wants to cuddle in my arms; I love the cuddling but am sad she isn't feeling well. We were going to go to the beach or the zoo today; of course, we canceled both. She will be going back home tonight. I wish I knew how to increase her immunity to all this stuff she is catching. Any ideas? She seems to eat healthier than most children...what else can we do? She goes jazz class, swimming lessons, preschool, Sunday school and she starts soccer next week....I don't want to pull her out of her activities. Do we have to restrict her or let her catch all these childhood illnesses? Actually, we planned to let her start soccer when Jazz was finished in June, but the soccer teams start next week for the summer; I will check to see if Ellie can wait and start soccer in the Fall.
