Fitting service

This is Michael from the Nuneaton branch of Halfords fitting a new roof box and bars on my car this evening.

I've been attempting to sort this out since Saturday. I have to say that I am really impressed at the service I've received from a number of staff at this branch and also in Daventry over the past few days.

I wanted a different box but the manufacturer didn't have any in stock - that was the cause of delays. All the Halfords staff were extremely patient and made a number of phone calls on my behalf checking compatibility with may car and chasing stock. Due to time pressures, I ended up ordering a different unit over their internet service for collection at Nuneaton where the whole lot was in stock.

That was yesterday morning. I got the usual email and text confirming the order and stock, but then, just a few minutes later I got a call from the store confirming everything. Later I got another call to confirm stock had been checked and was available to ask when I would be in to collect. Then another call late yesterday to confirm the time I would be in today so that they could ensure staff were available to put it on my car (not having done it before, I didn't want to fight with it outside their store myself).

Tonight I called in an two guys sorted the whole lot out with great care and precision.

Unbelievably good service all round - I applaud you. I'm sure others will have horror stories but they have been great on this transaction.

Well done guys - great service, both in store and over the internet. That's the way to beat the threat of internet only shops.
