I filled the bird feeders this morning and the bluejays were there, so I put some extra peanuts on the railing for them. Six bluejays, a couple of crows and one squirrel, so the peanuts did not last very long. They did provide some entertainment for both me and the cats. (Photoshoot # 1)
I decided to go over to the Salt Marsh Trail for my walk today, only the second time I have been there this winter. There were lots of gulls around, including this one, which is either a black headed or a Bonaparte's gull. I will ask the experts on the bird society FB page for an ID. (Photoshoot # 2)
After lunch I finished another jigsaw puzzle, then decided to take the truck over to the car wash to use their vacuum cleaner. It really needed to floor vacuumed. I need to get some Armorall to dust off the vinyl too. I had a short walk at Shubie Park when I was out too. (PHotoshoot # 3). Came home and sent out some emails to my clients, to confirm things for this year. Lots of emails back already with 'yes, yes, yes answers. I also sent a message to a couple of my workers from last fall. A is coming back, and when we did the late Nov job last year, he brought a guy he knows with him to help, and his friend will work this year too. I had already talked to M about working 5 days a week, and she is happy about that. S will work 2 - 4 days a week, the same as she did last fall. I also messaged T today, and she will work 2 - 3 days a week. I may hire one more person, if I can find someone suitable.
I have a merchandising job scheduled for tomorrow, the same kind of setup that I did yesterday, only I am on my own for it.
