Come on in... the water is lovely

An early start today. There were three of us, all awake before our alarms and super excited about a loch visit. The weather was vile on our way, but true to form everything cleared up as we got near Balloch. The wind picked up though, which gave us a significant challenge with the swell and the waves. At least none of us would dehydrate today having swallowed several gallons of water!

The good news is the water is heating up; 12 degrees today up from 9 degrees on Friday. I think the loch is officially open!

I took my old iphone out in a waterproof case and got a few photos. I couldn't see the screen which made it challenging, however I'm sure things will improve with practice! So here you have H and C at the Cameron House marina (aka the witch's hat) about half way through our swim.
