Airfield Lunch
On my morning walk I heard the lovely nightingale-like song of the first blackcaps of the season. One in the garden and another on the bank of the lake. These birds are also know as Northern nightingales.
My daughter, granddaughter and I decided to go ahead with our planned visit to The Squadron at North Weald Airfield for lunch. They saw MrQ in the hospital on the way to ours. My daughter and I enjoyed convoying in our Honda S2000s from here to the cafe. We had plenty to chat about.
I visited MrQ afterwards and unfortunately he has to stay another night in hospital while they monitor his blood pressure after giving him fresh medication. They gave him intravenous iron today.
