And the winner is...

And so to the races at Huntingdon where it was Ladies Day. In addition to the Best Dressed Lady competition there was a Best Dressed Couple contest too. Earlier in the afternoon I had spotted this couple strolling around the course and thought they looked good together. Then there they were lined up for the judging of the Couple contest. I would have given them the first prize but they got third. They were delighted though and their prize was an evening at the Peterborough Greyhound track with dinner thrown in. Wow! I bet you are jealous!

The winning couple was an inspired choice - a sweet little old couple got it. He was a retired jockey and farmer , about 70 and 5ft tall. She was a similar age and height. Their prize was a Spa day at a nearby country house spa venue. Brilliant!
