For the love of dogs

I thought I would blip Rory on his lunchtime walk, as a tribute to Paul O’Grady.

I was quite shocked when I heard the news this morning, and listening to all the tributes about him, I realise what a national treasure he had become. He was a genuine, caring and very much respected man. 

For me, I think I will always remember him firstly, as Lily Savage (so sharp and cutting, but with a heart of gold), and secondly, for his love of dogs, which was shown as a patron of the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, as well as his amazing ‘For the love of dogs’ tv programme.

He will be much missed by all, whether human or canine.
