An Advancing Cold Front…..

A rather frightening bank of dark grey clouds was sneaking across the eastern sky from the south. It was a cold front and was heading across the Cook Strait to Wellington where it would unleash its rain, gale force winds and towering wild seven meter ocean swells. All Cook Strait ferries were cancelled for the day. There may be inundation around the southern coast of Wellington and up the Wairarapa coastline on the eastern side of the North Island. The front missed us here in Marlborough.
