the Silver Sands Run

Needed to get out of the house this afternoon, so took Miss Daisy for a drive. We ended up at Silver Sands, where one can drive onto the beach. It's also handy, as she could get onto the beach just by jumping out of the car. She likes the beach in general, but it can be a trial getting her down onto the actual sand. She is quite disinclined to do the walking part of any walk, so delivering her to the exact spot she might like to run around in, is a bonus.
I didn't get out of the car at this point as I was still eating but had my camera about me.
Extra shows the expanse of the beach, even though it's a pretty mediocre windy day, one can imagine how popular it would be on a warm sunny afternoon.
