Back Blip - Rest and Recovery Day
I woke up feeling more awful than usual today. Payback time for the gig on Saturday night but still no regrets.
I used hot and cold sprays alternatively on my fibromyalgia trigger points, especially in my spine, neck, legs and knees.
Main Blip is of smoothie with added lemon juice, recommended by Charlotte, a fellow fibromyalgia fighter.
She doesn’t claim to cure it but she offers nutritional ideas to try and ease symptoms so have been trying to follow it to a degree - I am struggling with giving up dairy though, I’m not sure that I will manage that.
Next month, seeing the Pain Consultant for the first time. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I have fought for that appointment after thirteen years of symptoms and nine years of chronic pain.
Listened to music and tried to rest as much as possible in between dealing with life admin.
The extra is of my evening meal - pasta salad with feta, Sugarbelle tomatoes, a dash of reduced salt soy sauce and a swirl of Boursin garlic portions. It tasted good and I needed the energy boost of the carbs!
