Tea time treat

This afternoon, I visited my Mum and,  as it was not raining, we managed to go out for a walk, towards the city centre beside one of the little streams.
Fortunately, it did seem to improve her mood.

In the evening I made this Tea Brack. (The fruit is soaked in cold tea over night). When I came to find a tin in which to store the cake, I discovered a "blown" tin of fruit salad at  the back of  the  larder cupboard, which had left a sticky residue all over the shelf. Once discovered, I didn't want to leave it, so clearing it was an unexpected late night  task, and delaying the blip!
