Catkins
We lost an hour in bed, as the clocks changed overnight. TT and I weren’t up very early, but BB was – which is strange. I think he had to get up to see how he was feeling after his clatter yesterday. He continues to have a headache and to be very tired, but apart from that he seems fine. He still has no memory at all of what happened. He says everything went white.
My day started with a few chores. I hung my washing out and realised that the temperature had really dropped then headed out for a run – and went about five and a half miles. Having discarded my gloves recently, I was very glad I had put them on. When I got abck TT was home from church and had picked up some lunch, which he was in the process of cooking.
After lunch, BB took up residence on the sofa and slept for a large part of the afternoon. TT was marking again, and I popped out to stretch my running legs. It was lovely and bright, though rather cold. I went on the route I have been on the past few Saturday, which comes back along the river and by the football pitches. The weather completely changes and I got caught in a hail shower which then turned to rain. I was quite damp when I got back home and so was my washing. How very annoying.
TT cooked a chicken curry for tea. I did some ironing then BB got some board games out, as he has to minimise screen time. We played The Game of Life and Labyrinth. He wanted to play Monopoly too, but I was less keen on that! Later I had a long call with my brother and TT called his mum.
I spotted these catkins on my afternoon walk.
