Tangly phone

This is why we now use cordless phones, because in the 'olden days' you had to hold your head a few inches away from the phone because the cord is all tangled up in a messy jumble of twistedness.

Obviously this wasn't the case for the neat and tidy telephone operators, but for us slovenly workers it seems an inevitability.
