Juvenile Black-Crowed Nightheron

Lorna and I took a couple "newbies" kayaking on the Silver River - otherwise known as the river of a zillion kayaks or that darn kayak superhighway.  Very little wildlife can tolerate the commotion.  I was so lucky to spot this young nightheron.  
Extra is a little lunch action - "Don't you darn photograph me eating lunch!"  I chuckle maniacally.  The newbies really did have a blast.  It was worth the crowds.
