Cricket stumps...

choose the one with the cricket stump trees in the background.. was the advice I was given while trying to choose todays blip of the bluebell woods. We had a wonderful walk in the woods today..while some of the bluebells are not yet out and the grass is threatening to make their display a little less spectacular in places, a whole new area of woodland has been cleared making way for this spectacular display. It is a vast area which was previously covered by a dense canopy and not really visible. Now, however, you can walk right around it and the smell was intoxicating.

I love the way the path weaves through the wood so for todays May Heartfreek Photo Challenge I have chosen Ribbons which are the paths in the woods which thread their way round the trees like ribbons.
