Kelvin-Helmholtz Clouds…..

The cloud formations, which look a bit like ocean waves, are a rare phenomenon. I saw them near the end of Maisie’s and my walk this morning. They were lying along the tops of the Wither Hills to the south of Blenheim.
I checked out the name of them with a friend who is a retired Meteorologist. This type of cloud formation is named Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds.
I did some gardening today. Very satisfying. And late this afternoon I mowed the lawns. Bad, very bad weather is predicted over the next few days.
