A Watchful Eye

Lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time this morning to snap this swan watching over her cygnets.

I had to shoot quickly while keeping an eye on daddy swan. He was stalking the canal bank making sure that cyclists, dogs, photographers and other undesirables kept a respectful distance.
