Echos of old times

Out for dinner tonight.  This is the view from the new Echo Building in Bridge Street, Sunderland built as expensive flats about 20 years ago.  The scheme never fully took off and was later used as cheap social housing.  Not sure of the use today but this shot shows a view from street level over the River Wear and to the north side of the town.  The restaurant we visited overlooks the river facing east, adjacent to and below the new 'Echo building'.One of the best views in the city!
