Duck or Trout?

Today was the launch of my new farmers market. Very successful but won’t bore you with pictures. The day brought a number of the type of village trades that I love.

In order - a pot of bedding plants from the lovely plant traders from Lincolnshire who braved the rain and had a brilliant trading day. Caramel Blondies from the sourdough baker who sold out of bread by 11am. Poffertje for breakfast because we stretched the market space and found them an inside pitch. Two trout in exchange for a jar of my sweet and sour pickled beetroot as a result of a passing conversation and finally this duck pate dish from 1970s France in exchange for 6 litres of milk and a carton of oat milk. I am an ace trader.
