Warhammer 40,000

Henry Cavill is no longer playing Superman and has stepped down from his role as The Witcher (Yes, we are in the world of Sci-fi/fantasy). However, he is to play a significant role in Warhammer - another one of his personal passions. So I thought I'd find out more about Warhammer.

It is a board game similar to war gaming and Dungeons and Dragons. Its universe is full of different races and creatures and set in the year 40,000. Now, the interesting thing is this has become a phenomenon in as much there are people who build elaborate sets to play on and there is a large community of people who just enjoy painting the figures and who rarely play. ( I researched this mainly via YouTube ) 

By coincidence, we walked past a Warhammer store in Cheltenham and so I snapped this image of a small diorama through the window. Who Knew?!
