Proper blossom

Quick cuppa with friends,
walk in the sunshine, then lunch
and more walks. Quiet day :-)

Mr KCNQ2Haiku had fun last night with our friends, they are people we both went to Uni with but it's hard for us both to socialise with them as we don't have any babysitters that can manage Ben.  Some of them came around for a cup of tea this morning which was nice.  One had brought a birthday present for Mr KCNQ2Haiku which was a picture frame with a compilation of all the postcards that Mr KCNQ2Haiku and I had sent when we were travelling around Europe in our early 20s.  It was so sweet of him to have kept the cards and thought to put them together like this 21 years later!  
So that was a highlight today.  Also it's my Mum's birthday and our niece's birthday, so that's a bit of fun too.
Ben and I had a little walk in the morning and then lunch and a proper walk in the afternoon.  Leo has been napping in between walks and is not sure about the clock change.  (Don't get me started!)
Ben got upset in the afternoon because I wouldn't let him go in the garden and play with his rocks, it's still so muddy out there and it was nearly teatime, so I had to manage that for a bit but he settled down.  We've realised that it's time to open a new bottle of medication for him tomorrow (we find it works less well after it's been open 4 weeks) so hopefully that will help a little.  Other than that, quite a quiet day.
