A bit of a dreary day...

...but clocked this little gate for Derelict Sunday on our walk round the block...

On our way over the dam bumped into a retired headteacher that Roy used to work with, so stopped for a chat - they haven't seen each other for 15 years or so...

Also stopped to talk to the "new" owner of the ex-spooky house, which is looking brilliant these days. He's in the middle of repairing a side wall, adding steps and straightening two huge old stone gate posts. I'll blip the gate when he's finished ;)
