A Host of Golden Daffodils.

William & Dorothy Wordsworth were born in Cockermouth, so it is fitting at this time of the year that the whole town becomes full of daffodils!

But not just normal daffodils ( although there are masses ).

Knitted, crocheted, wooden, metal, large, and small appear all across the town for a month!

Everyone gets involved…coordinated by Cockermouth Rotary…schools, care homes, individuals etc etc.

It is an amazing sight!

Also, Wordsworth House and Garden reopens on Saturday with a new exhibition celebrating growing up in Cockermouth.
