In the port of Essaouira

Our first full day in Morocco started with a huge breakfast at the Riad Chbanate after which we went to explore the Medina and port of Essaouira. We walked through the middle of the Medina and then found our way to the walls overlooking the rocks and sea before heading towards the port. So much to see (blue sky, blue doors, blue boats), hear, smell and taste. We stopped for a drink in a rooftop bar looking northwards up the coast, and later had dinner in a small restaurant in the Medina, before returning to our Riad and its cozy fire-warmed lounge (and beer was available - Casablanca lager).
