A busy evening

The last week or so, the highlights of the evening has probably been whatever was on TV and then today along came two events.
The first was a interesting (more than I had thought it would be) talk on Rock Doves and in particular the genetic make-up of our local population - which turns out to be the most genetically pure population in Britain.
The second was the monthly pub quiz. Take away the music round and I think we would have won - however three out of ten on that particluar round rather scuppered our chances.
