Chatham Historic Shipyard: Im in "Tape"
Readier to pounce on prey in large
Extra: "Tape" by Numen/For Use
Back blip
Im and I had another Canterbury house viewing, but went via Chatham Historic Dockyard to get more use out of our annual tickets. Our timing allowed us to stumble across the art installation "Tape" by Numen/For Use which opened that morning in the mezzanine of Slip 3: "Tape" is a cocoon/web-like structure made of transparent film and sticky tape made by an art collective, and up to five people can enter through a hole in the base and crawl around the interior space. We were the only two in there, and it was a rather surreal experience! I only took interior photos from the entrance (after leaving) because I couldn't take items in, but took lots of exterior photos.
