Twins

Serendipitously Mr P and my lovely friend Janet were born within hours of each other (north and south of the UK) and so they both turn 60 on Tuesday.
I spent the morning wrapping their pressies. Carole and I walked up to Eshiels to deliver Janet’s and to spend the afternoon with her. She baked us some delicious scones. Mr P picked us up and he and I spent the rest of the evening by the fire. I’m reading Milkman by Anna Burns (next Book Group book) and catching up with the new series of Race Across the World. Early night tonight as the clocks go back and we lose an hour.
