Lambs in a Gang !

After a leisurely start - a walk to the Weir and a coffee outside despite the odd shower, we walked into Culbone. I love this walk but with lots of erosion on the path and uphill all the way there, I find it quite challenging. But I’m always pleased I’ve done it . We had our lunch sitting in the Church porch . The local farmer was checking the Church and tidying - one of the Richards family from Ash Farm - all the farmers around Culbone are part of the same family and it was fascinating to listen to some of his reminiscences of the area.
Afterwards, we drove into Minehead for some shopping then went to the end of North Hill to look down the coast an£ watch the rain rolling across . We were so lucky that we didn’t get wet on our walk.
We treated ourselves to dinner at the Top Ship . We surprised to bump into my dear friend Jeff - a local ‘celebrity’ who knows everyone in Porlock . He was about to eat with his grandson .
