Wednesday
As our school celebrates its 10th anniversary, a whole school photo was decided to be had and today was the day. Our school is from reception through to 6th form so a lot of children and adults. I work with the younger children at the lower school. All our children had to be delivered at the main school and we kept them in the sports hall. The photo company set up the large tiered stand but the rain postponed the start by at least half hour. Eventually the rain stopped and they started positioning the pupils starting with the oldest up on the top tier. We finally got out with ours and then the teachers had to take a sit (all pupils and staff had to be in some form of height order). Smile, camera, action…. Just about ready when one of the senior students fainted and fell down. Poor thing! The chap in charge was insistent on trying to get the shots required before it all went tits up. The student along with some staff made their exit and now for take two. All of sudden I heard rumbles from the other side of the stand and another student vomited over everyone in front. Honestly, you couldn’t make it up. Gawd knows how the photo will come out with other students upset by what had happened. One to remember that’s for sure.
This is the front door of the lower school that the parents decorate.
