Bird scarer

I thought this was quite a novel idea for a bird scarer. I am not sure how much planting will take place at the community garden association. Most of the irrigation channels will not be running due to the drought and there is a hosepipe ban. This morning I had a productive meeting with the deputy mayor and her husband. He is prepared to remove all the rubble and rubbish from the crypt for a quarter of the price we were quoted yesterday. The deputy mayor has asked us to prepare a spreadsheet of all the ringing visitors we had last year and the nights spent in hotels and the meals eaten in restaurants. She will then present this to the Maire so that he realises how much we contribute to the village economy. Later in the morning, I played some tennis with Noortje in the sunshine. We have a visiting ringing vicar arriving for practice this afternoon and then the ringers will all go out for a curry this evening,.
